Read travellers’ reviews before choosing hotels. Venere and Trip Advisor are very good. The Michelin guides are also very useful. Use Google Maps to locate hotels. Its “street view” function enables spanning hotels surroundings and reduce surprises. Then, shop for the best prices using the links below AND checking with hotels directly, especially for availability. Hotel sites often say your dates are not available but it may be because their block of rooms is sold out.
