CONSUMER EXPENDITURES BROKEN DOWN

The latest survey from the Department of Labor reveals that Food at home and Gasoline and motor oil now account for 12.5% of consumer spending.

Food away from home is now 5.4% of expenditures vs 7% for Food at home.
